Robin Altman, President
Robin, founder of The Altman Group, has spent more than 25 years creating and managing marketing, advertising, and direct marketing programs. More than 10 of those years were spent at AT&T in the consumer and international long distance divisions. At AT&T, she specialized in creating and managing programs and campaigns aimed at various target markets and multicultural groups. She also has industry experience in transportation, travel and tourism, and consumer goods and services.

Robin is an adjunct faculty member at Bergen Community College, where she teaches marketing planning and internet marketing to Bergen and Passaic County residents enrolled in the Self-Employment Assistance program. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Bergen Community College, Division of Continuing Education. Robin is also a marketing instructor and coach for the Women's Business Center, the education and training division of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO). She previously served on the NJAWBO Bergen County Chapter’s Board as Vice President of Marketing and volunteered on various committees. Robin and Altman Group associate, Jayne Jacobson created the first electronic newsletter and web site for the local chapter. 

An active volunteer and fundraiser for the Bergen/Rockland Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Robin has served in various leadership positions including Public Relations Chair and Team Captain for the annual "Walk to Cure Diabetes" and Lead Volunteer for the annual Gala. The Altman Group has received the "Gold Achievement Award" for outstanding team contribution for the "Walk to Cure Diabetes." Robin graduated cum laude from Ithaca College and holds a BS degree in Marketing and Advertising and a minor in Recreation Management.
